Born in the Bay Area and having grew up in Hawaii, Curtis' musical style and taste dates back to since he got his first drum set at 10 years old.
In high school, he played in various reggae bands and then went on to college to study music composition. There he played and wrote across multiple instruments, musical styles, and genres, learning everything he could giving him a unique taste and sound.
Now, living in Los Angeles, Curtis brings a unique blend of his traditional music background with mellow, soulful songs of his youth and growing up on the island.
